Below is a brief plan outlining some topics and artists I would like to explore during my project (this has obviously changed and developed throughout).

'DIARY' PROJECT PLAN

ARTIST RESEARCH:

  • Andy Biggar and Emily Hancock (for guidance on animal photography).

EXPERIMENTATION: Action Shots

  • Continuation of Andy Biggar's work (a selection of action shots rather than dogs in general).

  • What features of my photography/camera helped me to improve my action shots?

  • What helped me approach a subject I have very little knowledge/experience of?

RECORDING: Capturing the Mood

  • Night lights (good content for mood adjustment - darkness can look scray/mysterious, light can look happy/thriving).

  • Photographs from a trip can create nostalgia which captures a mood fantastically.

  • Turning photographs into a memory box?

FINALISING AN OUTCOME: Documentation

  • What final outcome can you create from such a varied project?

  • How can you create an unexpected/unusual outcome?

  • Chance to attempt videography? What skills will I need to practice?
